Abscess Bloodred Bacteria's self-titled album is a brutal, unapologetic assault on the senses. From start to finish, the band delivers a relentless barrage of crushing riffs, pummeling drums, and guttural vocals that will leave even the most jaded metal fans feeling battered and bruised.
The album's production is suitably raw and dirty, giving each instrument and vocal track a gritty, unpolished edge. This works to the band's advantage, as it gives their music a sense of urgency and immediacy that would be lost with a more polished sound.
Standout tracks include the blistering opener "Rotten to the Core," the crushing "Bloodred Bacteria," and the epic closer "Death Toll Rising." Each song is a masterclass in extreme metal, showcasing the band's ability to write memorable hooks and brutal breakdowns that will get heads banging and fists pumping.
